Kelly Wade

After growing up in a serial entrepreneurial family and working in the family clothing and hotel businesses, Kelly amassed nearly 30 years of sales, marketing, and management experience focused on growing and leading people, cultivating unique cultures, and developing strategic long-term growth plans for a variety of industries. Her experience spanned small, medium and large scale companies in both B2C and B2B. She spent a decade with one of the largest commercial roofing companies, where she helped transition the company to an ESOP as the COO and then led the company through a sale to private equity as the first female CEO in the national roofing industry. In her third CEO role, she led the creation of the Skycrest Roof Co residential roofing brand and the launch of the platform backed by private equity firm Shore Capital, acting as interim CEO. Now, through Go Get Life capital+advisory, Wade continues to lead contractors on how to grow, acquire, create succession, build great teams, sell or partner. Her passion for the people who make up the roofing and contracting industries drives her success. She especially wants to help women thrive in leadership roles and in life.

Kelly received a B.A. in English Journalism from Miami University and is completing an MBA in Global Finance from Ashland University. She also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University. And a certification with honors from L’Institut de Francais.

Kelly has always weaved philanthropy into her work/life world. She was a Big Sister through Big Brother Big Sister for years. She earned the key to the city of Temple Terrace outside of Tampa for developing a new type of “all-in” corporate partnership with the teen program, then went on to join the Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Sarasota/Desoto counties where she developed corporate partnership programs. She continues the years long support for women in Africa thru Women for Women International. She recently became a Foster Nation Sparks Coach where she mentors a protege aged out of foster care.

Kelly’s home base is Santa Barbara CA. She has two rock star sons and a Siberian Husky. She enjoys hiking, biking, running, skiing, yoga, reading, writing her latest book and developing her new podcast. Her passion for travel and trekking the most interesting mountains and journeys around the world continues on - Patagonia's Torres Del Paine in 2018, the Haute Route and GR20 in 2021, the Pennine Alps 2021, Kilimanjaro 2022, Sleeping Indian in Jackson 2022, Mt Whitney June 2023, Mt Fuji August 2023, Rim2Rim Grand Canyon 2024, Mt Muhabura Rwanda 2024, Bhutan's Laya Ghasa trek in 2025 - to name a few.
